Summer Reading List 2008 - 2009
Students of HKAC/ESS are required to read over the summer and will be evaluated on their comprehension of what they read when they return to school in September.
The reading is not broken into class levels, rather it is divided into subject area. All students need to choose five (5) books to read over the summer, one from each of the subject headings listed below.
Note also that students must read these books in English. Please go to the bookstore and preview the books before you buy them. Some are targeted for advanced readers while others are targeted for students who at a more intermediate level.
