Status as a local school with the EDB

HKAC/ESS is an upper secondary private school offering both a local curriculum and an American Curriculum Strand. We have submitted an application with the EDB that will register us as a separate school in 2008-2009, and, when approved we will change become “Hong Kong Adventist Academy” and as HKAA we will expand our curriculum to include S3 in 2008-2009, and S1-2 in 2009-2010.

Many parents often refer to our school as an “international school” and make this assumption because most of our teachers are not Chinese. We are, and will remain, a local school offering a local curriculum and will prepare students for the local open examinations.
