What do we look for in applicants?
We look favorably on students who take their education seriously but we also look for a positive attitude and an applicant who will contribute to the overall improvement of HKAC/ESS. We strive for academic excellence and we expect our students will make the same effort.
Instructions
Please gather the following documents, incomplete applications cannot be considered.
1. Two letters of recommendation. The referee should submit this letter online, on this website.
2. Completed application
3. Official transcripts from all secondary schools you have attended (for S1 students, transcripts should be obtained from all primary schools you have attended)
4. Computer Usage Agreement
5. Parental notification
6. Off-campus forms

3. An English Placement Test. The TOEFL is acceptable, but we offer our own placement test. If it is clear from the interview that the candidate speaks fluent English then this requirement can be waived.
Please request or compile all of the documents below and have them submitted by August 15. Late applications are accepted, and late entry is possible, but if you fall into this category please contact the school before gathering the application materials. Visa Information
Once you are accepted you will receive a letter from Hong Kong Adventist College informing you, officially, of your status. HKAC/SS will also send you an email letting you know, unofficially, whether you have been accepted.
The EMB (the department of education for Hong Kong), has accredited HKAC/SS to operate under the supervision of HKAC which is why they issue the letter of acceptance. You need this letter for your visa application. Below is information regarding the visa.

Please fill out this application and send to the address provided in the application packet above.
